Kaslo Wild Ultra : July 10–12, 2026
The Kaslo Wild Ultra is a three-day, multi-stage trail running event in Kaslo, BC. All distances start and finish at Kaslo Bay Park and package pick-up is there. Registration opens November 15, 2025. The event is a fundraiser for the non-profit Wildwood Discovery society and is organized and staffed by volunteers. Participants may enter individual stages or combine stages into multi-day challenges.
- Full Wild - 80 km - All three days - $380
- Lake - 6 km - 55 m elevation - $80
- Mountain - 52 km - 2400 m elevation - $200
- River - 22 km - 528 m elevation - $120
- Half Wild - 28 km - Day 1 and Day 3 combined - $180
Course support, gear and rules
Courses are marked with flagging tape and arrow signs. The Mountain Stage includes five aid stations and one water station; listed aid station locations and elevation gains are provided for the course. The River Stage has two aid stations at about 8 km and 16.5 km. GPX files are available for each stage. For the 50 km event, mandatory gear includes a hydration pack or bottles (this is a cupless event), a rain jacket or emergency blanket, and a phone. Headlamps are recommended for the 50 km; bear spray is recommended. Headphones are not allowed. The event enforces checkpoint and finish cutoffs, prohibits short cutting, and applies penalties for environmental abuse. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
