About the race
Karoo Poison 2026 is the sixth edition of a combined gravel bike and trail running event held at Leeuwenboschfontein Guest Farm in the Nougaspoort area above the Koo valley, Langeberg Local Municipality, Western Cape. The programme includes multiple gravel bike route lengths, trail runs and a short toddler run or bike/pram category, plus food stalls and on-site entertainment. Camping and self-catering accommodation are available at the guest farm.
The event offers the following distances:
- 125 km gravel bike
- 99 km gravel bike
- 52 km gravel bike
- 28 km gravel bike
- 12 km trail run
- 5 km funrun
- 2 km toddler run or bike race (day entries only)
Minimum ages apply for specific distances and are set by the organiser. Registration takes place the day before and on the morning of the event. The first 200 entries receive goodie bags.
