War Eagle Run Fest
War Eagle Run Fest takes place February 20–21, 2027 at Auburn University, 251 S Donahue Dr, Auburn, AL 36849. The event weekend includes multiple races held around the Auburn campus with finish lines on the 50-yard line inside Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Distances offered:
- 13.1 miles Half Marathon
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 1 mile Kids Mile (ages 12 and younger)
Half Marathon and 5K runners start outside Jordan-Hare Stadium, follow a course through the campus, then enter Jordan-Hare Stadium to finish on the 50-yard line. The Kids Mile begins near Jordan-Hare Stadium and also finishes on the 50-yard line. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $60 for the Half Marathon, $30 for the 5K, and $20 for the Kids Mile. Registration windows for the Half Marathon and 5K open on September 14, 2026 and close on September 17, 2026; the Kids Mile registration closes on November 24, 2026.
The event is presented by FRESHJUNKIE Racing in conjunction with Auburn-Opelika Tourism and Auburn University. After the races there is a post-race tailgate held outside the stadium with music, food, and commemorative medals for participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
