Kappa Delta's Shamrock 5K Walk/Run
Hosted by the Zeta Zeta chapter of Kappa Delta at California State University, San Bernardino, the 16th Annual Shamrock 5K Walk/Run takes place on the university campus. This event serves as part of the national Shamrock Project, which raises funds for child abuse prevention organizations.
Participants can choose from the following registration options:
- 5 km Walk/Run
- 5 km (California State University, San Bernardino Affiliated)
The event supports both local and national initiatives. Eighty percent of the funds raised benefit the Children’s Fund in San Bernardino, while the remaining twenty percent is donated to Prevent Child Abuse America. All participants receive a medal upon completing the course.
Check-in tables are located north of Parking Lot G, near the tennis courts. Following the run, a community event is held on PE Lawn 1 featuring food, games, and music. Visitors parking on campus are required to purchase a daily virtual permit through the ParkMobile app or at designated dispensers in Parking Lots D or N. Once a permit is secured, participants are instructed to park in Parking Lot G on the east side of the campus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
