Kāpiti Half
Kāpiti Half is a running festival on the Kāpiti Coast that features multiple race distances and community activities. The event offers road and trail running on a course described as flat and fast, passing river trails, lake loops and boardwalks with views over Kāpiti Island. The course finishes on the beach side park at MacLean Park, Paraparaumu Beach.

- 2 km kids Kick It 2K
Entry fee items are provided to participants and include either a medal or a tree planted in the finisher's honor, a race bib and bag tag, a timing chip to be returned after the race, secure bag check at MacLean Park, medical support and aid stations on some courses. Entrant check‑in is available at Pacific Health in Paraparaumu and on site at the event. Awards and spot prizes are presented at MacLean Park.
The event supports fundraising for charity partners including Kaibosh and Waikanae Estuary Care Group. A Strava club is available for participants who want to share training and connect with other members of the Kāpiti Half community.
