About the race
Kāpiti Women's Triathlon is scheduled for 21 February 2027 at Raumati Marine Gardens, Garden Road, Raumati Beach, Paraparaumu, New Zealand. The event offers multiple ways to take part: individual entries or teams, and a range of challenges including triathlon and duathlon options. Participants can choose different distances to match their experience and fitness. The long distance triathlon and duathlon are intended for more experienced participants.
Competitors in the long distance format should be able to complete the full course in about two hours (approximately under 30 minutes swim, under 45 minutes cycle, under 45 minutes run); progress will be monitored and some participants may be asked to turn back early if needed. Entry pricing includes age-based concessions: entrants under 18 and over 60 receive a NZ$10 discount, and entrants over 70 enter free. Early bird pricing ends at midnight on 30 November 2026. A late fee of NZ$10 per event applies to entries from midnight on Sunday 7 February 2027.
To have a name printed on a race bib, entries must be submitted by midnight on Sunday 7 February 2027. The event lists sponsors including Interislander, Biking Mad Cycle Shop, R Line Electrolytes and Waterfront, and is associated with fundraising for the Kapiti Womans Centre.
