About the race
Kangaroobie Klassic is an adventure race held in Princetown, Victoria on 13 March 2027. The event combines open-water swimming, mountain biking, kayaking and trail running across a riverside and coastal setting. Entrants may compete individually, completing all four legs, or as part of a relay team of two, three or four.
The main race consists of these legs:
- Swim 1 km
- MTB 16 km
- Paddle 5.7 km
- Run 6.5 km
Junior events follow the main race. These include the Junior Ninja Trail run for children aged 6 to 12 and the Gellibrand Eel Junior triathlon recommended for participants aged 8 to 14. Pre-race check-in and race pack pickup are available the evening before and on race morning, with a compulsory briefing before the main race.
