Event Overview
The Kangaroobie Klassic is a multisport adventure race held at Kangaroobie on Old Ocean Road in Princetown, Victoria, Australia. It is described as a family-friendly event.
Race Format and Distances
The main race consists of four consecutive legs, completed either individually or as a relay team. The leg distances are:
- Swim: 1 km
- Mountain Bike (MTB): 16 km
- Paddle: 5.7 km
- Run: 6.5 km
Participants can enter as an individual, completing all four legs alone, or as part of a relay team of two, three, or four people.
Junior Events
After the main race, there are separate junior events:
- The Junior Ninja Trail Run for children aged 6 to 12 years.
- The Gellibrand Eel Junior Triathlon, recommended for participants from 8 to 14 years.
