Kaiserkrone Trail
The Kaiserkrone Trail is a trailrunning event in Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser held on 25 and 26 June 2027. The event features six trails with a combined extent announced as 140 km and about 9,610 metres of ascent. Races run around and onto the Wilder Kaiser massif.
Runners can choose among several race categories:
- ULTRA
- SKYRACE
- PANORAMA
- MEDIUM
- SHORT
- KIDS
The Kaiserkrone KIDS children’s run opens the event on the Friday before the main races. Official interactive course maps and GPX downloads are provided for each category.
The start and finish area is in the village centre of Scheffau, between the music pavilion, the primary school and the church. Organisers recommend environmentally friendly arrival where possible, for example on foot, by bicycle or by regional bus. The bus stop "Scheffau Dorf" is located directly by the event. Parking in the village centre is limited; a Park & Ride lot is available about 1 km from the start area and is subject to fees and card payment at an automated machine. Local taxi and shuttle services are also listed for connections to and from the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
