About the race
The Kaiserkrone Trail is a multi-distance trailrunning event in Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser held on 25 & 26 June 2027. The event comprises 6 trails, covers 140 km in total and accumulates about 9,610 m of elevation gain across the courses. Race categories listed for the weekend are:

The Kaiserkrone KIDS children’s run starts the event on the Friday before the main races. Official interactive route maps and GPX downloads are available for each race. The start and finish area is located in the village centre of Scheffau between the music pavilion, the elementary school and the church.
Travel options are oriented toward low-impact arrival: on foot, by bicycle with bike stands at the tourism office or municipal office, or by regional buses KaiserJet 80 and Postbus lines 865/866; the bus stop "Scheffau Dorf" is adjacent to the event site. Parking in the village centre is very limited. A Park & Ride lot near the ENI filling station at Loferer Str. 1 (6351 Scheffau) lies about 1 km from the start/finish and is served by shuttle buses approximately every 30 minutes; the parking area requires payment at an on-site machine. Online registration for all distances opens on 23 November 2026 at 08:00. The event is presented with support from the partner Mammut.
