The course winds past historical African American landmarks in Madison and ends at Gaines Park.
Early packet pickup and late sign up are scheduled for Friday, June 19 at the Madison Visitor's Center from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm. Packet pickup and sign up on race day will be located on Broadway at the Garage entryway; race day registration opens at 6:30 am and closes at 7:30 am.
There is a free children's fun run. All participants receive a commemorative Juneteenth Medal. Awards are given only to the first place overall male and female runner and to the first place overall male and female walker.
