Juneteenth Celebration 5k
The Juneteenth Celebration 5k takes place on June 20, 2026, in downtown Fayetteville at 301 N. Cool Spring St, Fayetteville, NC 28301. The event offers both an in-person race and a virtual participation option.

- 3.1 miles virtual option with mailed items
Registration opens March 23, 2026. In-person registration closes April 30, 2026, and virtual registration closes June 19, 2026. Fees listed for the events are $33 for the in-person 5K and $50 for the virtual option.
The route uses downtown Fayetteville streets and is described as flat. There is a marked start and finish area in the downtown location. Participants may run or walk the course.
Virtual participants receive a race shirt and a medal by mail, so a correct mailing address is required. Funds raised through the event support the Fayetteville Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. scholarship fund. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
