Juneteenth Celebration 5k

The Juneteenth Celebration 5k is an annual running event held in downtown Fayetteville on June 20, 2026. The event takes place at 301 N. Cool Spring St and includes both an in-person race and a virtual option.

The in-person program features a 5K course that runs through downtown streets and uses a defined start and finish area. Registration for the in-person 5K opens March 23, 2026 and closes June 7, 2026. The registration fee for the in-person 5K is $33.00.

A virtual option is offered with a distance of 3.1 Miles. Virtual registration opens March 23, 2026 and closes June 19, 2026. The virtual entry fee is $50.00. Virtual participants will receive a race shirt and a medal by mail and should verify that their mailing address is correct.

Proceeds from the event help fund the Fayetteville Alumni Chapter Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. scholarship fund.
