Junebug Jog

Junebug Jog is a road race held on June 13, 2026 in Winfield, Kansas, hosted by William Newton Hospital and the Winfield Recreation Commission. The events start and end in the south parking lot at Winfield High School near 300 N Viking Blvd. The course runs mostly on residential streets and incorporates the Kansas Veterans Home area.

• Jr. 100 meter dash 100 meters for ages 8 and under

Course notes and services: The 10k follows two slightly different loops with a water station on each loop located at the Kansas Veterans Home. The 5k has a turnaround at the Kansas Veterans Home, includes one water station, and mile splits are announced. The 1 mile route turns around at TP Hales Rd. The junior 100 meter dash takes place at the Joe Vann track and is for ages 8 and under.

Participant information: Registered participants for the 10k, 5k, and 1 mile receive a shirt, race bib, finisher medal, and printed finish line photos mailed to participants. Snacks and refreshments are available at the finish. Timed events use digital timing and placer medals are awarded across age and overall categories. For 2026 organizers will donate one dollar per participant to the Kansas Veterans Home Benefit Fund.
