About the race
The JoyRun for Autism 5K is a community run/walk hosted by Joyful Journey Behavioral Services on August 23, 2026, at Markham Park in Sunrise, FL. The course is described as a scenic 3.1 Miles route and the event includes finisher medals and awards for top runners.
The event program lists complimentary coffee sponsored by JC Beans, kids activities, sensory-friendly spaces, an obstacle course, and a visit from the firefighter department. A check-in booth will distribute race bibs, and participants are asked to complete a liability waiver before finishing registration. Markham Park parking requires a $3 fee. Dogs are welcomed.
