Journey to ExSCellence 5K Walk/Run 2026
The Journey to ExSCellence 5K is scheduled for September 12, 2026 at Fairwood Community Park in Bowie, MD. The event aims to amplify the voice of Sickle Warriors, raise awareness of Sickle Cell Disease and educate communities about the challenges faced by people with the condition. Participants are offered information about the disease and the event emphasizes community recognition of those challenges and the experiences of Sickle Cell Warriors.
Two participation options are provided:
- 5K Walk/Run
- Virtual 5K
