Jordan's Run the Runway 5K Series - Chatham-Kent
Jordan's Run the Runway is presented by Siskinds LLP and takes place at Chatham-Kent Municipal Airport in Merlin, Ontario on September 11, 2026. The event features a 5 km runway race with both in person and virtual participation options.
Distances offered:
- 5 km certified, chip timed event.
- 1 km Kiddie Trot, fun run not timed.
- Virtual 5 km option to complete remotely.
The certified 5 km course is described as flat and fast and begins and ends on the airport runway. Participants may run, walk, roll, or use poles; strollers are welcome. Post-race activities include a reception in a hangar with food and drink, followed by presentations and prize awards.
Funds raised support access to YMCA camps, programs, and services within the Chatham-Kent community, with proceeds staying local. The Chatham-Kent event is part of a four-stop regional series that offers multi-race pricing and series rewards for participants who complete multiple events.
