Jordan's Run the Runway 5K Series : Chatham-Kent
Jordan's Run the Runway 5K Series takes place at the Chatham-Kent Municipal Airport in Merlin, Ontario. The event is presented by Siskinds LLP and funds raised support local YMCA camps, programs, and services.
The main event is a certified, flat 5K that is chip timed and begins and ends on the airport runway. Participants may run, walk, roll, or use poles; strollers are welcome. A virtual 5K option is available and a Kiddie Trot of approximately 1 km is offered without timing.
Prizes are awarded to top male and female finishers, including running shoes and gift cards. This event is one stop in a four-event 5K series held at different regional airports, with multi-race pricing and series finisher rewards for participants who complete multiple events. Funds raised stay local to Chatham-Kent to help provide access to YMCA programs.
