The Johnstown 5k Run/Walk For Veterans
The event is a community 5K run and walk at Sargent's Stadium at the Point in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. It honors veterans, active military, and hometown heroes. All proceeds are designated for the Johnstown Veteran Affairs.
The event requires ticket purchase on Eventbrite. Registration opens at the stadium front gate. All ages are allowed and strollers are welcome; pets are not permitted. Runners and walkers are responsible for their own time.
All participants receive a medal and a shirt and a free Johnstown Millrats game ticket. A patriotic costume contest will award the most patriotic participant a turn in the Money Man Cash Cube for 60 seconds to collect cash. After the course, participants are invited to a group photo called the "Final Shot" on Main Street.
