The Tri the Parks - John Tanner Spring Sprint is a USAT sanctioned sprint-distance multisport event on April 18, 2026, at John Tanner Park in Carrollton, GA. The event includes individual and relay divisions for sprint triathlon, sprint duathlon, and sprint aquabike. The field limit is 500 athletes and registration closes on race day or when the field limit is reached; T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after April 4.
Course specifics:
- Swim: 600 meters, triangle course with start and exit at the shoreline
- Bike: 13.8 miles, clockwise loop on paved county roads with rolling to flat terrain
- Run: 5 kilometers, loop course that includes paved trail, unpaved park road, and county road finishing across the lake dam
Race procedure notes include a time trial swim start, numbered bike rack assignments in transition, and body marking with race number and age. Swim caps are provided and must be worn; cap color indicates swim start position. Aquabike competitors follow the same swim and bike courses and use a green wrist band for identification.
