Registration is open to ages 9 and over. The total field is limited to 500 participants. The event is USAT sanctioned; all participants must be a USAT member or purchase a one-day license.

Course Details

The swim course is a 600-meter triangle in the lake, starting and finishing at the shoreline. A time-trial start is used, with swimmers starting every 5 seconds. The wetsuit ruling is made on race day based on water temperature.

The bike course is a 13.8-mile clockwise loop on paved county roads. The terrain is described as rolling hills to flat with some up/downhill sections.

The run course is a 5 km loop. The first mile is on a flat, paved trail around the lake. The second mile proceeds onto an unpaved park road and then a paved county road to a turnaround. The final mile returns on the same route to a finish on the lake dam.

The duathlon uses a modified version of the run course for its first leg, followed by the standard bike course, and finishes with the standard run course. The aquabike uses the same swim and bike courses as the triathlon.

Event Logistics

The park opens at 6:00 AM. Packet pickup includes a swim cap, which must be worn; its color indicates swim start position. Body marking with race number and age is done for all athletes. Bike racks in the transition area are numbered to correspond with assigned race numbers.

T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after April 4. An awards ceremony is scheduled. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
