John Samra Memorial 5K Run & 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk
The event is a community running event held on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Clifton City Hall, 900 Clifton Ave, Clifton, New Jersey. The course is certified (NJ10531JHP) and timing and scoring are provided by Elite Racing Systems.

Age divisions are organized for awards and results and include 14 and under, 15 to 19, then decade groups from 20 to 29 up to 70 to 79, plus 80 and over. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Registered 5K participants who pre-register by September 13, 2026, are eligible to receive event t-shirts; t-shirt sizes are guaranteed for participants registered by that date. Refreshments will be provided after the event.
Registration fees for both the 5K and the 1 Mile Family Walk are listed as $35 per applicant if postmarked by September 13, 2026; late registration is $40 per applicant. Packet pickup is available at the PBA Barn at Clifton City Hall on Friday, September 18 and Saturday, September 19, with additional pickup on race day beginning the morning of September 20.
