Jog Into Spring
The Jog Into Spring is the 24th annual community running event held on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Independence, Ohio. Proceeds benefit the Renee Fontana Roche Memorial Scholarship/Garden Fund and the Living Classroom within the Independence School District.
The race begins and ends at the Independence Civic Center, 6363 Selig Drive, Independence, OH 44131. Parking is available at the site. Registration includes a raffle ticket and refreshments are provided at the finish line.
Event distances:
- 5K Run/Walk chip timed
- 1 Mile Walk untimed
- Virtual Event complete a 5K or one mile on your own
Registration details: pre registration through April 24, 2026 is $25, late registration after April 24 is $30. A family rate of $70 applies for four people at the same address. Mailed entries must be received by April 15, 2026. Registrants who register by April 13 are guaranteed a t shirt; later registrations are subject to availability.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female runners and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group, with age divisions beginning at 10 and under and extending to 70 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
