Event Details
The Jog Into Spring is the 24th annual event taking place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Independence, Ohio. It is based at the Independence Civic Center on Selig Drive. On-site parking is available.
Events and Registration
The event offers three participation options:
- 5k Run/Walk - This is a chip-timed event.
- 1 Mile Walk - This is an untimed event.
- Virtual Event - Participants can complete a 5k run or a 1 mile walk on their own, anywhere, and submit results by a specified deadline.
Pre-registration is $25 per person, with a $70 family rate for four people from the same address. The registration price increases after Friday, April 24, 2026.
Participant Information
Registration includes a t-shirt for participants who register by April 12 to guarantee availability on race day. Refreshments are provided at the finish line. Each registration also includes a raffle ticket for on-site prizes, with additional tickets available for purchase.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Renee Fontana Roche Memorial Scholarship/Garden Fund and the Living Classroom program within the Independence School District.
Awards
Awards are given to the top overall male and female runners. The top three male and female finishers in each age group also receive awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
