Event overview
The Jog Into Spring is scheduled for April 26, 2026, at the Independence Civic Center, 6363 Selig Drive, Independence, OH 44131. This is the 24th annual edition. Proceeds benefit a memorial scholarship/garden fund and the Living Classroom within the Independence School District. The event includes on-site refreshment service at the finish and a raffle; one raffle ticket is included with registration and additional tickets are available on site.

- 5K Run/Walk - chip timed
- 1 Mile Walk - untimed
- Virtual Event - participants may complete the 5K or 1 mile on their own; virtual results submission has a deadline of April 29
Awards are given to the top overall male and female runners. Male and female runners finishing in the top three of each age group will receive awards. Age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
Registration and race items
Pre-registration through April 24 is listed at $25; late registration after April 24 is listed at $30. A family rate of $70 covers four people from the same address. Mailed entries must be received by April 15 and can be sent to Hermes Sports & Events, 2425 West 11th St., Suite #2, Cleveland, OH 44113. Registration includes a t-shirt; registering by April 13 is recommended to guarantee a shirt. Virtual participants who register by April 10 will be mailed a shirt prior to race week.
