14th Annual Richmond District YMCA Jog in the Fog - 5K Family Fun Run
The 14th Annual Jog in the Fog 5K is scheduled for September 20, 2026 and is organized by the Richmond District YMCA in San Francisco. The event is described as family friendly and kid friendly, and is intended as an opportunity for school groups, sports teams, and multi-generational families to participate together. All registered participants will receive the event race t shirt.
The course is described as a 3.4 mile route that winds through scenic trails, beginning at Mt. Lake Park and finishing at the USS San Francisco Memorial Parking Lot in Lands End. Course monitors will be stationed along the route. Post race festivities at the finish line include snacks, games, music, and kid friendly activities.
Practical notes from the organizer state that restrooms are available at the start and at the finish, and that there is no locker or storage service and no shuttle transportation provided. Bib pick up is available the day before at the Richmond District YMCA and at the starting area on race morning. Street parking is noted near the start and parking is available at the finish; local Muni lines 38 Geary and 1 California serve the area.
