JJC Foundation 5K Run/Walk
The event takes place at Joliet Junior College on October 4, 2026. It offers both in person and virtual options with organized 5K and 1 mile distances across a flat, paved course that runs through the college campus.
Distances:
- 5K available in person and virtual.
- 1 Mile Wiley Run available in person and virtual.
Registration opens December 15, 2025. Registration fees listed are $40.00 for the 5K and $20.00 for the 1 Mile. In person registration is available on race day; virtual registration remains open through October 5, 2026. Virtual participants receive swag bags by shipment the week before the event.
Event services for in person participants include chip timing. All 5K entrants receive a short sleeve t shirt and a finisher medal. Wiley Run participants receive a stuffed animal and a finisher medal. The 5K includes age group awards and a team award for the group with the most participants.
