Tejas Dirt Festival takes place on May 9, 2026 at Camp Eagle, 6424 Hackberry Road, Rocksprings, TX 78880. The event includes trail running, rucking, a trail run biathlon, and the King & Queen of the Hill trail run. Camp Eagle lodging and activities require a mandatory waiver and a $10 land access fee for everyone over age 3. Meals are available on site, with typical prices around $10-12 and a gluten free option request form. Camping and lodging options range from hostel beds to hotel-style rooms and yurts, with published nightly rates for several room types.

- 4 mi, 10 mi, 20 mi, 40 mi, Youth 1 mi
- Ruck: 4 mi, 20 mi
The course is mostly hilly with rocky sections, scree, and riverside trails. Course markings use orange caution tape, yellow arrows, and many confidence markers; reflectors are used for night races. Races are chip timed; chips are attached to an ankle strap and must be worn on the ankle. Aid stations typically appear every 3-6 miles and are cupless, so participants should bring their own cup or bottle; collapsible cups are available for purchase on site. Drop bag service is not provided, but participants may place and retrieve their own drop bags at the Pavilion.
Ruck rules require a 20 lb load for participants under 150 lbs and 30 lb for those over 150 lbs, with mandatory weigh-ins; weight must be carried on the back and not be consumable or wearable. Pacers are not allowed. The Youth 1 mile is untimed and awards a finisher medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
