Jingle Bell Run - Dayton
The United Way of Rhea County organizes a seasonal community running event on December 5, 2026, in Dayton, Tennessee. The event starts and finishes at the United Way office at 224 4th Avenue, Suite 101. Street parking is available in the surrounding area, and restrooms will be available inside the office. The event is scheduled to be held rain or shine.
Participants may choose between the following distances:
- 5K : $35 registration fee
- 1 mile : $20 registration fee
Packet pickup for bibs and T-shirts is scheduled for December 4 at the United Way of Rhea County office, 224 4th Avenue, Suite 101, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Race morning pickup is available at the same office from 6:30 to 8:00 AM. Registration opens on September 15, 2026, and closes on December 5, 2026. Registration fees are nonrefundable.
The event includes a Jingle Bell Run Team Challenge with trophies for Largest Business Team, Largest Family/Friends Team, and Most Festive Team. Christmas costumes are encouraged for people and pets. Dogs are allowed on a leash, and strollers are permitted for walkers only. After the finish, Santa will be present for photos while results and awards are prepared.
