Jingle Bell Beer Run - Waimea

Event overview

The Jingle Bell 5k Beer Run takes place on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at The Shops at Mauna Lani, 68-1330 Mauna Lani Dr., Kamuela, HI. The program includes the following distances:

• 5K
• 5K Beer Division (open to ages 21+)

Registration opens November 11, 2025. Entry for each event is listed at $40, with 300 spots available per event. The event is a fun run that welcomes walkers, joggers and strollers. Roads on the course will remain open, so participants must obey all traffic laws.

Race rules, prizes and logistics

All race proceeds support PATH (People for Active Transportation Hawaii), a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on safe, accessible and active transportation on Hawai’i Island. Beer service requires a valid ID; participants 21 and over receive one post-race beer on tap. The Beer Division provides one beer at the beginning and one at the halfway point of the course; the race clock continues while participants consume those drinks. Special prizes are awarded to the top three Beer Division finishers, and age-group prizes are given to top male and female finishers in age groups from 0-9 through 70+. Additional event features include a post-race Holiday Market with music, food and vendors, a prize drawing with a one-night stay grand prize, no bag check, and overflow parking on Ho'ohana St. Dogs are not allowed on the course but are welcome at the Holiday Market.
