Jim Schoemehl Run for ALS
The Jim Schoemehl Run is an annual event organized by the Webster Groves High School DECA chapter to raise money for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. The event is entirely operated by the high school students in DECA.
The run is hosted at Webster Groves High School and begins outside Roberts Gym. Participants can choose between a 5K and a 10K race. The event also supports a local family, with proceeds going to them and The ALS Association.
Beyond running, there are other ways to get involved, such as volunteering on the day of the event or making a donation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
