Jersey Hospice Care 10K Run
The Jersey Hospice Care 10K run is a community running event covering 10 km, held on Sunday 23 August at FB Fields, St Clement. The event continues the organisation originally managed by the family of the event's namesake and has been handed over to the current organisers.
The run is sponsored by Titan Wealth for a second year. Titan Wealth is described as a wealth management company with £35bn assets under management and more than 1,300 employees across eight jurisdictions, including the Channel Islands. Local teams in Guernsey and Jersey offer a range of investment services for individuals, families, charities, intermediaries and corporations. Services listed include discretionary investment management, advisory stockbroking, execution only trading, precious metals, cash management and financial planning.
The event is described as a run rather than a race and welcomes participants of varying standards. Every person who crosses the finish line will receive a medal. There will also be a trophy for the overall winner and awards for the first three men and the first three women to finish.
Run numbers are available for collection from the reception on Mont Cochon from Tuesday 18 through Saturday 22 August; the reception is open from 8am until 6pm on those days. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
