Jersey City Turkey Day 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
The Jersey City Turkey Day event is an annual running event held along the Jersey City waterfront at the Colgate Clock, foot of Essex Street and Hudson Street. The course runs beside the water and offers views of Lower Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island. The event includes official timing and professional race photos, plus music and a finish-line experience.
There are two distance options:
- 5K Run/Walk, $30 registration, registration open 12/15/2025 to 2/1/2026.
- 1 Mile Fun Run, $20 registration, registration open 12/15/2025 to 11/16/2026.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
