Jelm Mountain Run - Jelm, WY

The Jelm Mountain Run is a 10 mile road race held near Jelm, Wyoming on improved jeep roads through the mountains of southeast Wyoming. The course is an out and back of just over ten miles, roughly five miles uphill and five miles back downhill, with total elevation change of more than 2000 feet. The route begins near 7600 feet and climbs to about 9600 feet at the top of Jelm Mountain.

There are two aid stations on course: one about halfway and one at the summit. Aid stations provide water and light snacks; runners are asked to bring their own bottle, cup, or bladder to reduce waste. The entry price includes a Jelm hoodie; general registration pricing is listed with an early rate and a later increase. A club discount applies for members of the hosting club or partner clubs.

Proceeds from the event are donated to the Albany County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue, a volunteer organization that provides search and rescue services for Albany County and surrounding areas. Awards are given to top finishers, including a free entry and a local award for top male and female and awards for the top three in each age group.
