Jefferson Healthcare Rhody Run
The Jefferson Healthcare Rhody Run is scheduled for May 17, 2026, at Fort Worden State Park in Port Townsend, Washington. The event is organized by the Port Townsend Marathon Association, a charitable non-profit. Most aspects are run by volunteers and event proceeds are returned to the community to support school sports programs and youth-oriented nonprofit organizations.
Two race distances are offered:
- 12K
- 5K
Updated 2026 course maps are available on the registration page. Parking at Fort Worden requires a valid Washington State Parks Discover Pass and is limited. Additional parking is available at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, with shuttle service between the Fairgrounds and Fort Worden; the Fairgrounds are approximately one half mile from Fort Worden and walking to the start area is an option. There is no public transit service on Sunday.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, May 15–16, at Jefferson Healthcare with location and times to be announced, and race day pickup will be at the Parade Grounds at Fort Worden.
Awards for the 12K include custom Port Townsend Foundry medals for the top three finishers in each USATF five year age group for men and women, from Under 14 through 95–100. The event is a Pacific Northwest Track & Field road championship for Open and Masters divisions. Championship eligibility requires current PNTF/USATF membership prior to race day. Prize money is listed for Open and Masters divisions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
