Jedburgh Running Festival

Jedburgh Running Festival takes place in Jedburgh on 25 Oct 2026. The event includes two road races that both start in the Abbey Place area and finish on the grass by the river opposite Queen Mary’s House.

The festival offers these distances:

• Half Marathon: road race, rural single carriageway and closed main road
• 10K: road race with a 5K turnaround on the closed main road

The half marathon route follows the High Street, A68 and A698 with a short detour past Crailing church and a loop through Eckford before returning to Jedburgh. The 10K follows the same initial section with a 180 degree turnaround at 5K. Water stations are provided: four approximately at miles 3, 6, 8 and 10 for the half marathon; two at about 4.5k and 5.5k for the 10K, plus refreshments at the finish. All finishers receive a commemorative medal.

Entry fees and limits are published for each race, with discounted member rates. Tech T-shirts are offered for £13.50 with an order deadline of 11 Oct. Registration and number/timing chip collection take place at the Jed Thistle Pavilion from 09:00. Car parking is listed around Lothian Car Park, and the A698 from Kelso will be closed from 10:00 so approach via St Boswells after that time. Communal male and female changing and shower facilities are at Jed Thistle Rugby Club; private facilities are also available. Closing date for entries is 21 Oct 2026 or earlier if limits are reached, with no refunds or deferrals and specified late-entry and timing-chip surcharges.
