Jedburgh Running Festival
The Jedburgh Running Festival, held in Jedburgh, Scotland, features two main road races: a half marathon and a 10K, both starting near Jedburgh Abbey. The half marathon course combines rural single carriageway and flat closed roads, passing landmarks like Crailing Church and finishing by the river opposite Queen Mary's house. The 10K route follows a similar path with a 5K turnaround.
The event is LGBT friendly, offering a non-binary category recognized by Scottish Athletics. Facilities include communal and private changing and showering at Jed Thistle Rugby Club. Water stations are available along the routes, and all finishers receive commemorative medals.
The festival supports Cancer Research UK. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
