Event overview
The JC Valentine's Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and 1 Miler takes place in Lincoln Park, Jersey City, NJ on February 8, 2026. The event is the third annual running presented to support the nonprofit Sustainable Jersey City. Distances offered include:

Participants receive an A4 technical running shirt (male and female cuts) and a bib with an embedded timing chip. A personalized bib is available for those who register at least four weeks before the event; later registrants receive a commemorative bib. Finishers receive a die-cast medal. Awards and plaques are given to the top three overall male and female finishers for each distance, plus age-group awards for the half, 10K, and 5K.
Course and logistics
The course uses paved roads, bridges, park paths, a lake loop, and passes historic monuments. The half marathon is four loops of a 3.27-mile circuit. The 10K and 5K are run as looped circuits, and the 1 Miler circles the lake. Water stations are placed about every 1.5 to 2 miles and will offer water, Gatorade, and gels. Live timing is provided with a split per loop and a live tracking app. Packet pick-up and baggage check-in are scheduled the morning of the event. Post-race food includes bagels, spreads, and fruit; a paid brunch option is available nearby. The race policy states there are no transfers, credits, or refunds.
