Course and race details
The half marathon uses a looped course made up of four laps of a certified 3.27-mile circuit around Lincoln Park. The 10K and 5K are also run on a looped course in the park, with the 10K using multiple laps and the 5K using a single lap. The course includes paved roads, bridges, paths, a lake, and historic monuments. Water stations are placed about every 1.5 to 2 miles and will offer water, Gatorade, and gels. Live timing will be provided, with split times reported per loop.
Participants receive A4 technical running shirts in male and female cuts and a bib (personalized if registered at least four weeks before the event). Finishers receive a die cast medal with a full-color ribbon. Awards and plaques are given to the top three overall male and female finishers for all distances and to top age groups for each distance. Post-race food includes bagels with spreads, organic jelly, and peanut butter; a paid brunch option is available near the start/finish.
