Event overview
The JC Valentine's event is scheduled for February 8, 2026, at Lincoln Park, West Side Ave. and Belmont Ave., Jersey City, NJ 07304. The event includes multiple race distances and supports the non-profit Sustainable Jersey City. The course is described as a certified measured looped course that uses paved roads, bridges, park paths, a lake, and passes historic monuments.
- Half marathon (13.1 mi) - 4 loops of a 3.27-mile course
- 10K (6.2 km) - 2 loops of a 3.1-mile course
- 5K (3.1 km) - 1 loop of a 3.1-mile course
- 1 Mile - 1 loop around the lake
Course services, awards, and amenities
Water stations are provided approximately every 1.5 to 2 miles and will offer water, Gatorade, and gels. Live timing is provided with a split per loop and a live tracking app for spectators. Participants receive A4 technical running shirts in male and female cuts; personalized bibs are available for those who register at least four weeks before the event. A die cast finisher medal is given to finishers. Awards or plaques are planned for the top three overall male and female finishers for all distances and for specified age groups across the distances. Photographs and a finisher video are provided on the day. Post-race food includes bagels with spreads; a paid brunch option at a nearby venue is also available.
