Javelina Jundred
Javelina Jundred is a multi-distance trail running event held October 31 to November 1, 2026 at McDowell Mountain Regional Park, using the Four Peaks Staging Area (Javelina Jeadquarters) as the start and finish location.
- 100 Mile : 30 hour limit
- 100K : 29 hour limit
- 31K : 8.5 hour limit
The 100 Mile route comprises one 22.3 mile loop and four 19.45 mile loops; the 100K uses one 22.3 mile loop plus two 19.45 mile loops. The Jackass 31K follows a single 19 mile loop. Course terrain is desert singletrack with sandy washes, rocky sections, rolling hills, and boulder features. Total estimated elevation gain for the 100 Mile is +6,296 feet; for the 100K it is +3,956 feet.
Four on-course aid stations serve each loop: Javelina Jeadquarters, Coyote Camp, Jackass Junction, and Rattlesnake Ranch. Aid stations are stocked with water, Gatorade, gels, snacks, fruit and several prepared food options; organizers recommend carrying at least two water bottles for the longer stretches between aid. The course is marked with orange ribbon with black polka dots, junction signs, and reflective markers for night running.
Crewing is allowed only at Javelina Jeadquarters; pacers must be human and on foot, may be picked up or dropped only at Jeadquarters, and are subject to specific loop or sunset rules. The 100 Mile is a Western States 100 qualifier and a Golden Ticket race. Entry limits and fees vary by distance; chip timing and drop bag services are provided.
