Javelina Jundred is an ultrarunning festival organized by Aravaipa Running and presented by HOKA at McDowell Mountain Regional Park in McDowell, AZ. The event offers multiple race distances and a themed Halloween weekend atmosphere.

The 100 Mile course is a five-loop format staged from the Four Peaks Staging Area (Javelina Jeadquarters). Loop one is 22.3 miles and includes the Shallmo, Pemberton, and Escondido Trails. Loops two through five are identical 19.4-mile loops that include parts of the Cinch, Scenic, Pemberton, and Shallmo Trails. Loops are run one way. 100-kilometer entrants complete the first three full loops of the 100 Mile course.
Trails traverse Sonoran Desert single track with rolling terrain, giant saguaro cactus, granite boulders, and dry wash beds. Each loop includes a gentle 600-foot climb from the start/finish to a high point near the foothills of the McDowell Mountain range, followed by descents and sections through wash beds. Trail surfaces include hard-packed granite, rocks, and sand.
Event support and site services include crew canopy reservations with a $100 fee and limits of one crew space per runner reservation. Crew canopies, long RV, and short RV spaces are marked sold out for 2026. Car camping is hosted in the Competitive Lot with vehicle-contained camping only; ground tents outside vehicles are not permitted. Javelina Jundred is a Western States 100 qualifier and Golden Ticket Race with automatic qualifying bids awarded to top finishers in each gender category. The event also features the Jackass Night Trail, a one-loop night race with two waves that includes access to Jackass Junction party activities. Registration closes October 5, 2026.
