Java MTB & Trail Run Challenge
The Java MTB & Trail Run Challenge takes place on 10 October 2026 at Van Loveren Family Vinyeards in Robertson, Western Cape. The event combines trail running and mountain biking with on site music, food and wine as part of International Pinotage Day.
Event categories include both trail runs and mountain bike distances. Medals are provided to all finishers and each entry includes a bottle of Van Loveren wine. Proceeds from entries will be used to support a local school in the Robertson area.
Route profiles will be published before the event. Organisers note that Van Loveren is recovering from recent floods and route conditions are being assessed before final routes are confirmed. E Bikes are permitted in certain classes but will not be eligible for prizes.

- 10 km trail run
- 20 km trail run
- 20 km MTB
- 40 km MTB
- 60 km MTB
- 40 km E Bike MTB
- 60 km E Bike MTB
