Java MTB & Trail Run Challenge
The Java MTB & Trail Run Challenge takes place on 10 October 2026 at Van Loveren Family Vinyeards in Robertson, Western Cape, South Africa. The event is organised by Onsite Events and lists a typical age range of 12 and older.
The event offers both trail run and mountain bike options. Distances and entry fees are:
- 5 km Trail Run - R150
- 10 km Trail Run - R200
- 20 km Trail Run - R300
- 20 km MTB - R300
- 40 km MTB - R400
- 40 km E-Bike MTB - R400
- 60 km MTB - R450
- 60 km E-Bike - R450
E-bikes are welcome but prizes are not available for e-bike categories. Medals will be awarded to all finishers and each entry includes a bottle of Van Loveren wine. The event coincides with International Pinotage Day and the programme includes live music and food.
Route profiles will be shared in due course. While Van Loveren recovers from recent floods, organisers are assessing route conditions before confirming final routes. Proceeds from entries will be directed to a local school. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
