Java MTB & Trail Run Challenge
The Java MTB & Trail Run Challenge takes place at Van Loveren Family Vineyards in Robertson on 28 November 2026. The event offers multiple trail running and mountain bike distances on trails that were rebuilt by the Montaque Trails Team after recent rain.
Distances offered include:
- 5 km Trail Run
- 10 km Trail Run
- 20 km Trail Run
- 10 km MTB
- 25 km MTB
- 50 km MTB
- 50 km E Bike MTB
Entries include timing by Bouttime, a medal for all finishers, and a bottle of Van Loveren wine. E bikes are welcome but will not be eligible for prizes. Proceeds from every entry will support a local school.
The event program includes live music and food on site, and it is presented in the setting of the Robertson Valley and the Van Loveren estate.
