Jamestown Rotary 5K Chicken Run and 1 Mile Fun Run : May 23, 2026
The event takes place at the Fentress County Fairgrounds Main Gate in Jamestown, Tennessee on May 23, 2026. It includes two running options:
- 5K (3.2 Miles)
- 1 Mile
The 5K course begins and ends at the Fairgrounds Main Gate. From the main gate the route goes left on Fairgrounds Road, turns right onto West Cove Road, then turns right onto Highway 127 South and continues back to Fairgrounds Road across from SmartBank before returning to the fairgrounds. Water is provided at the midpoint and at the finish. Water and snacks are available after the race.
The 1 Mile Fun Run starts at the Fairgrounds Main Gate, proceeds to the intersection of Fairgrounds Road and West Cove Road, and returns to the Main Gate. Water and snacks are available at the end of the 1 mile run.
Registration details include a $20 fee and an early-registration deadline of May 11, 2026; T-shirt availability is not guaranteed after that deadline. A family discount of $5 per participant applies when four or more participants register. Race day registration is available.
Awards for the 5K include overall best time male and female and top male and female in each age division. Participants in the 1 Mile Fun Run are not eligible for top awards. Children under age 10 receive a participation award. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
