Jailbreak Beach Escape, South Padre Island
Jailbreak Beach Escape is an obstacle beach race held on May 16-17, 2026 at Clayton's Beach Bar on South Padre Island, Texas. The course runs three to four miles along the beach and includes about 15 to 20 obstacles placed by the organizers.
The event takes place on the sand, exposing participants to beach terrain and sun. Safety is a stated priority; staff members are positioned throughout the course to monitor the obstacles and assist participants as needed.
People of various ages and athletic abilities attend the event each year. After completing the course, participants typically move to Clayton's Beach Bar for a beach party organized as part of the event experience.
