JailBreak Escape Urban Challenge Run
The JailBreak Escape Urban Challenge Run is scheduled for August 8, 2026 in Lexington, South Carolina at 541 Gibson Rd, 29072. The event is presented by the foundation and is the thirteenth annual edition of the Jailbreak Race Series.
The event is a 3.1 miles run that combines obstacles and CrossFit-style exercises along the course. It is described as designed to challenge participants of all ages and fitness levels. Over the past 13 years the series has raised more than $100,000 to support professional law enforcement services in Lexington County.
Entry is by team, with Male, Female, or Co-Ed team options. There are two team formats described by the organizer. The "Competing" format requires teams to finish every obstacle and is intended for teams aiming for first, second, or third place awards. The "Completing" format is offered for teams that wish to support the Sheriff's Foundation; teams in this format may not be penalized for failing an obstacle and will not receive awards.
