11th Annual Jackrabbit Jog
The Jackrabbit Jog is a community running event held in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This event serves as a fundraiser for the PKD Foundation, with proceeds supporting research for treatments for polycystic kidney disease. The race takes place at 1220 Fairview Ave. Participants can choose from several distance options that cater to different preferences and age groups.
The event features the following distances:
- 5-Miler road race.
- 5K Run/Walk on a scenic course.
- 1-Mile Bunny Hop Kid's Run for younger participants.
- Virtual 5K for those participating from different locations.
Registration for the event opens in early March. All participants, including those joining the virtual race, receive an exclusive event T-shirt to commemorate their involvement. The in-person race route allows participants to move through the Bowling Green area alongside other supporters of the cause.
