7th Annual Jack O'Lantern Jog : Saint Paul
The 7th Annual Jack O'Lantern Jog takes place on October 17, 2026, in Saint Paul, Nebraska, with the course start and finish in the East parking lot of the Howard County Medical Center.

- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 1 mile (individual, family, and kids options)
The 5K follows a scenic, well-marked route through town and includes a water station approximately halfway. The event will be timed, though individual times will not be kept. Prizes will be awarded to the first-place male and female finishers. Registration for the 5K also enters participants into the costume contest. Runners may take part in the Trunk or Treat Walk afterward if they wish. Children may join the 1 mile walk for free with a 5K registration; names should be provided for treat planning.
The 1 mile walk starts and ends at the East parking lot and passes trick or treating stations along the route. Participants are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes. Strollers and wagons are welcome; bikes, trikes, and scooters are discouraged. The individual walk registration includes one shirt; the family option includes two shirts, and additional shirts are available for purchase. Treat bags will be provided.
The kids 1 mile race uses the same start and finish area. Parents are welcome to run alongside children and prizes will be given to race winners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
