j5k - Journey to Naioth
The j5k is a 5K run organized to raise funds for Journey to Naioth’s Discipleship School for the Heart. Proceeds support curriculum materials, books, and supplies used in the school’s programs aimed at young adults.
The event takes place at Riverway Sports Park, 3611 N Dinuba Blvd, Visalia. Early registration is listed at $35. The first 150 registrants receive a race T-shirt. Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each age group and to the overall race winner. Age groups are Under 18, 18–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–64, and 65 and over.
Several sponsorship levels are offered with specific benefits. The Momentum level ($250) includes a thank you on the event website, one complimentary race ticket, name on the race T-shirt, and inclusion of company items in the participant race bag. The Pathfinder level ($500) adds a second race ticket, logo on the T-shirt, social media promotion, and a 3' x 4' logo banner. The Navigator level ($750) adds a third race ticket and signage at the start and finish. The Trailblazer level ($1000) includes five complimentary tickets, a prominent logo on the T-shirt, and an announcement at the start of the race.
