JTreequinox
JTreequinox is a timed endurance event held in Joshua Tree, California. This race takes place on a 1 mile winding singletrack course situated on 20 acres of private property. Participants have a 12 hour window to complete as many laps as possible on this desert circuit.
The event features a limited field size of 50 runners. The course record for the event stands at 72 laps. Runners who reach a total of 27 laps or more are recognized for completing an ultra distance. Specific awards are also provided for the overall top male and female finishers.
Participants have access to an aid station located at the start and finish area. The selection of food and drink changes throughout the day, beginning with fresh fruit, electrolytes, and salty snacks, before transitioning to prepared items such as grilled cheese, quesadillas, and hot soup.
On-site amenities include space for runners to place chairs and coolers next to the course. Limited space is available for pop-up tents. The event also hosts shoe demonstrations from brands such as Adidas Terrex and Altra, allowing runners to test various trail shoe models during the event. Parking is available on-site at the Juniper Road location, though space is limited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
