Run with the Wolves 5K
The Run with the Wolves is a 5K event hosted at Indiana University East in Richmond, Indiana. It is organized as part of the Wayne County Challenge and takes place on the university campus, with registration and awards located at the Hayes Hall patio. Online registration and a PDF registration form are provided for participants.
The event program includes on-site registration, a 5K start, a Rufus meet and greet, and an awards presentation on the Hayes Hall patio. The race has produced multiyear participation records and published results for previous editions.
Recent event figures include recorded finishers and fastest times: in 2023 there were 216 finishers with fastest times of 17:22 (male) and 22:42 (female); in 2022 there were 203 finishers with fastest times of 17:48 and 21:03; and in 2021 there were 158 finishers with fastest times of 18:55 and 23:34. Event merchandise has included a commemorative 5K T shirt.
