It's Not Just Businesses We're Running Here! - Hamilton Chamber 5K
The third annual Hamilton Chamber 5K takes place on June 20, 2026, at the Village Office Lawn located at 3 Broad Street in Hamilton, NY. Proceeds support the Chamber Small Business Grant Program and a selected Chamber non-profit.

The 5K course runs on low-traffic country roads and through the village, passing Colgate University’s campus and a tree-lined section called Willow Path. The route description notes an initial climb on Payne Street (locally called No Payne No Gain Hill), a descent on Spring Street, segments on Oak Drive and University Avenue, and a return to Payne Street for the finish. Timing is provided with chip timing and the event is timed by Leone Timing.
Amenities listed for participants include a custom race shirt (limited inventory), a runner welcome bag with granola and local coupons, a handcrafted finisher’s medal by Village Clay, one hydration/aid station on course, and restroom access at the Hamilton Library and the Colgate Inn. Parking and restrooms are available in the center of Hamilton.
