It's Not Just Businesses We're Running Here - Hamilton Chamber 5K
The third annual Hamilton Chamber 5K takes place on June 20, 2026 on the Village Office Lawn at 3 Broad Street in Hamilton, NY. The event includes a timed 5K and a family fun run, and proceeds support the Chamber Small Business Grant Program and a selected Chamber non profit. The race is timed by Leone Timing, and the start and finish are located on the Village Lawn where post race activities will occur. Parking and restrooms are available in the center of Hamilton; additional restroom access is provided at the Hamilton Library and the Colgate Inn.

The 5K course begins on Payne Street, climbs the local No Payne No Gain Hill, then descends onto Spring Street before returning toward Hamilton Street and entering Colgate University campus. The route follows Willow Path, turns onto Oak Drive, crosses to University Avenue, and returns to Payne Street to finish where the race began. Participants receive a custom race bib, chip timing, a runner welcome bag with granola and local coupons, and a finisher item handcrafted by Village Clay. First through third place finishers in each gender category will receive Chamber gift cards. Pre and post race stretching is offered by The Zen Den.
