Islandman Triathlon, Avalon NJ
Islandman Triathlon takes place in Avalon, New Jersey on June 27, 2026. The event marks its 20th anniversary and is presented by Tim Kerr Charities, Inc, a registered 501(c)(3). Event proceeds and donations go to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The organizer reports the event is sold out and that a small number of bike course marshal volunteers are still being requested to help close the bike course on race day.
The triathlon follows a three-stage format and uses closed streets for the bike segment through Avalon. Packet pickup is available Friday, June 26 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and on race day inside Avalon Community Hall at 3001 Avalon Avenue. Participant items and awards listed by the organizer include an Xterra mesh athlete bag, a custom swim cap, three-color printed tee shirts, DeFeet custom socks, a custom event water bottle, a three-color printed finisher towel, and hoodie awards for top overall, masters, grand masters, and age group finishers.
