ISLANDMAN TRIATHLON
The ISLANDMAN TRIATHLON takes place on June 27, 2026 in Avalon, New Jersey at Avalon Community Hall, 3001 Avalon Avenue. The event is a triathlon made up of a swim, a bike segment, and a beach run.
- 1/4 mile ocean swim
- 12 mile bike ride on closed streets through Avalon
- 5k beach run
Registration opens March 1, 2026 and closes the same day. The registration fee is $120. Packet pickup is available Friday, June 26 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and race day, June 27 from 5:30 to 6:45 am at Avalon Community Hall.
Swim waves are organized by gender and age group and use colored swim caps. Volunteers are requested for roles including bike course marshals, race day packet pickup, and the beach water station located at miles 1, 2 and the finish line.
Athlete items and event awards listed by the organizer include an Xterra mesh athlete bag, a custom swim cap, three color printed tee shirts, DeFeet four colored custom socks, a Hollywood Bicycle Center custom event water bottle, a large three color printed finisher towel, and hoodie awards for top overall, masters, grand masters, and age group finishers.
Tim Kerr Charities, Inc is a registered 501(c)(3). The organizer states that proceeds and donations go to the Children s Hospital of Philadelphia and that 100 percent of proceeds go to charity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
