Island Vines 10K, 5K & Youth Fun Run - Snow Farm Vineyard, South Hero, VT
Island Vines is an annual road race held at Snow Farm Vineyard in South Hero, Vermont. The event offers multiple distances and a short youth fun run around the vineyard.
Distances:
- 10K out-and-back on West Shore Road
- 5K out-and-back on West Shore Road
- Half mile Kids Fun Run loop around the vineyard for ages 4 to 14
The 10K and 5K courses are out-and-back routes along West Shore Road. The first and last mile contain gently rolling hills while the middle section is mostly flat. For 10K runners there are water stations at approximately the 2 and 4 mile marks. Finish line chip timing is provided for the 10K and 5K, and courses are measured to USATF certification standards with certification pending.
Entry for the 10K and 5K includes a commemorative stemless glass, food truck service and beverage tickets, post-race entertainment, and awards. Bib pickup is available at Skirack in Burlington on the two days before the race and at Snow Farm Vineyard on race day.
All participants must be registered and sign a waiver. Baby joggers or strollers and running with pets are not permitted during the races, though dogs and strollers are allowed at the venue.
