Island Triathlon Festival - Stockton NSW
The Island Triathlon Festival is staged over a weekend in Stockton, NSW. The 2026 event is the second staging and from 2027 it will be held on the fourth weekend in September each year. The venue is Griffiths Park east of the ferry station at the corner of Mitchell Street and Wharf Crest.
The weekend program separates run events and multisport events. Saturday is the Haze Stockton Sunrise Run with flat foreshore and breakwall views. Sunday hosts triathlon, aquabike and aquathlon races on looped swim, cycle and run courses.

Triathlon and aquathlon distances:
- Standard Triathlon 1500 m swim, 40 km cycle, 10 km run
- Standard Aquabike 1500 m swim, 40 km cycle
- Sprint Triathlon 750 m swim, 20 km cycle, 5 km run
- Sprint Aquabike 750 m swim, 20 km cycle
- Super Sprint Triathlon 250 m swim, 10 km cycle, 2.5 km run
- Aquathlon 750 m swim, 5 km run
Race kit collection is available the day before and on race morning. Entries include a finishers medal, race bib, live chip timing, certified traffic controllers, on site paramedical support, and a donation from entry fees to local surf sport and service clubs. Access options include car via Fullerton Street and a short ferry trip from Newcastle; a special early ferry service operates on Sunday paid for by the event.
