Island Lake Classic 2026
The Island Lake Classic 2026 takes place at Island Lake Conservation Area in Orangeville, Ontario. This is the 14th annual event and includes both an in-person race and a virtual run. The event supports Credit Valley Conservation Foundation and highlights the Vicki Barron Lakeside Trail.
- 10K one loop around Island Lake, mostly flat double track.
- 5K portion of lake and forest trail with single track and slopes.
- Kids Fun Run about 200 m, open to children 10 years and under.
- Virtual Run mailed medal, bib and swag within Canada.
The 10K route features bridges and lakeside vistas. The 5K course includes roller coaster single track, fast double track sections, and cardio challenging slopes. There will be one water station on the 5K and two on the 10K. The event is cup-less and provides HydraPak SpeedCups for use at water stations. A race expo with community partner booths is planned.
Every finisher receives a medal and a custom 2026 swag item. Overall 1st to 3rd place finishers male and female are acknowledged, plus age group awards. Chip timing is provided by Enfield Timing.
