Island Lake Classic
The Island Lake Classic takes place on Monday, September 7, 2026, at Island Lake Conservation Area in Orangeville. The event offers three distances:
- 10K
- 5K
- Kids Run
The park features groomed trails and several bridge crossings along the Vicki Barron Lakeside Trail. The 10K route circles the lake on the Vicki Barron Trail, crosses multiple bridges, and rejoins the 5K route through the Sugar Bush. The 5K route includes roller coaster single track, fast and flat double track sections, cardio-challenging slopes, and forest views.
Park admission is free for participants and volunteers. Pre-race kit pickup is available on September 5 at Cycling Elements, and race kit pickup is available on race day at the event site. Every finisher receives a medal and a pair of running socks. Timing is provided by Enfield Timing. Overall first, second and third place finishers male and female are acknowledged on the podium with a selection of local goodies, and age group finishers receive a token of appreciation and a podium photo opportunity.
