Island Lake Classic
The Island Lake Classic is an annual running event held at the scenic Island Lake Conservation Area in Orangeville, Ontario. The 13th edition features 5K and 10K runs on groomed trails with natural highlights such as the Vicki Barron Lakeside Trail, bridges, and forest views. The 10K course is a mostly flat loop with double track trails and beautiful vistas, while the 5K offers a more challenging route with single track, slopes, and forest scenery.
A kids' fun run is also available. The event promotes sustainability with a cup-less policy and provides water stations. Participants receive medals and running socks, with awards for top finishers.
