Island Lake Classic
The Island Lake Classic is a running event held at Island Lake Conservation Area in Orangeville on Monday September 7, 2026.

The course uses groomed trails and the Vicki Barron Lakeside Trail, with numerous bridge crossings and views around the lake. The 10K follows the lakeside trail around the lake and joins the 5K route through the Sugar Bush. The 5K includes roller coaster single track, fast flat double track, and cardio challenging slopes through forested sections.
Admission to the conservation area is free for participants and volunteers. Pre race kit pickup is available on September 5 at Cycling Elements and race kit pickup is available on race day. Timing is electronic and provided by Enfield Timing.
Every finisher receives a medal and a pair of running socks. Overall first second and third place finishers male and female in both events are recognized on the podium with local products from a community sponsor. Age group finishers receive a token of appreciation and a podium photo opportunity.
