Irvington Vampire Run
The Irvington Vampire Run is the 5th annual 5K event held in south Irvington as part of the 80th Historic Irvington Halloween Festival. The course covers about 3.1 miles through tree-lined streets and passes local landmarks such as the Kile Oak, Benton House, Bona Thompson Memorial Center, and Irving Circle Park. The Halloween Festival Street Fair follows nearby.
There are three ways to complete the 5K. The Vampire Run 5K includes SWAG: a short sleeve race tee, commemorative bib, finishers' medal, a complimentary beverage ticket, and an official race time. The Bare Bones 5K provides only an official race time at a lower fee; both 5K options race together and compete for the same awards. A Virtual 5K option also offers the same SWAG items.
A Little Bat Dash is offered for kids 12 and under and is free. The kids' entry includes a commemorative bib and a finishers' medal. Adults may run alongside children without registering but will not receive bibs or medals. Registration fees listed for the 2026 event are $30 for the Vampire Run 5K, $20 for the Bare Bones 5K, $30 for the Virtual 5K, and no fee for the Little Bat Dash.
