Irvington Vampire Run
The Irvington Vampire Run is the fifth annual event presented by the Irvington Community Council as part of the 80th Historic Irvington Halloween Festival in Indianapolis. The main event is a 3.1 mile course that runs through the tree lined streets of south Irvington and passes local landmarks such as the Kile Oak, Benton House, Bona Thompson Memorial Center, and Irving Circle Park. The 5K entry includes a timing bib, a race t shirt with limited size availability after October 1, a finisher medal, and a beverage coupon valid during the Street Fair.
Registration opens April 17. Registration for the 5K options closes April 24. Little Bat Dash registration opens April 17 and remains open through October 31. A $10 discount applies during the first week of registration. A student discount of $5 is applied automatically for participants 18 and under.
Event options and fees are listed for the 5K race and for the Little Bat Dash. The 5K options include different entry packages and fees. The Little Bat Dash is a short kids run around Irving Circle Park and is free for children 12 and under. Children who enter the Little Bat Dash receive a commemorative bib and a finisher medal.
