Irvington Vampire Run - Indianapolis
The Irvington Community Council organizes the 5th annual Irvington Vampire Run on October 31, 2026, held during the 80th Historic Irvington Halloween Festival at 236 S Audubon Road, Indianapolis, IN 46219. The main course is a 3.1 mile route through the tree-lined streets of south Irvington that passes landmarks such as the Kile Oak, Benton House, Bona Thompson Memorial Center, and Irving Circle Park.
There are multiple entry options for the 5K distance and a separate kids' race. Options include a full 5K with SWAG that provides a short sleeve race tee, commemorative bib, finishers medal, a complimentary beverage ticket, and an official race time; a Bare Bones 5K that provides official race time only; and a Virtual 5K that includes the same SWAG items as the full in-person option. The Little Bat Dash is a short kids' run around Irving Circle Park, free for children 12 and under, and includes a commemorative bib and finishers medal. Adults may run alongside children without registering but will not receive bibs or medals.
Registration opens April 17, 2026, with a $10 discount during the first week. Fees listed for entry options in 2026 are $30 for the SWAG in-person 5K, $20 for the Bare Bones 5K, $30 for the Virtual 5K, and $0 for the Little Bat Dash. Registration deadlines vary by option.
