Irvington Vampire Run
The Irvington Vampire Run takes place on October 31, 2026 in south Irvington, Indianapolis at 236 S Audubon Road. The event is presented by the Irvington Community Council as part of the 80th Historic Irvington Halloween Festival. The course covers 3.1 miles through tree lined streets and passes local landmarks such as the Kile Oak, Benton House, Bona Thompson Memorial Center, and Irving Circle Park.
Distances and formats include:
- 5K main race and free kids 5K entries
- Short kids race around Irving Circle Park for ages 12 and under
There are multiple registration options and fee tiers. The Vampire Run 5K includes event SWAG and a recorded official time, with a registration fee of $30 and registration open from 2026-04-17 to 2026-04-26. The Bare Bones 5K provides official timing only, with a $20 fee and registration open from 2026-04-17 to 2026-09-16. A virtual event is offered with the same SWAG for $30 and the same registration window as the main SWAG option. A Free Kids Entry 5K is available with registration open from 2026-09-23 to 2026-10-31. The Little Bat Dash is free for children 12 and under with registration open from 2026-04-17 to 2026-10-31.
SWAG for the SWAG options includes a short sleeve race tee, a commemorative bib, a finishers medal, and a complimentary beverage ticket. The Little Bat Dash entry includes a commemorative bib and finishers medal. Adults may accompany children in the kids race but will not receive bibs or medals.
