Iron Horse Locomotion 5K
The Iron Horse Locomotion 5K is scheduled for September 12, 2026 at New Haven City Park in New Haven, Kentucky and takes place as part of the Iron Horse Festival. Organizers note a new course for this year.
Registration opens May 7 and closes August 22 for the early rate. Early registration is $30 through August 22; the fee is $40 from August 23 through race morning. Children age 5 and under register free. Participants who register before August 22 receive a special race day t-shirt.
Race day packet pickup begins at 7:30 am near the start and finish area. Central Kentucky Race Management will provide chip timing and live results. Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers and to the top male and female finishers in the following age categories: 10 and under, 11 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over.
