Event Overview
This is the fifth annual edition of the Irish Eyes are Mile'ing 5K race. It takes place in Ocala, Florida. The event includes a 5K race distance and a virtual race option.
Schedule and Location
The race starts and finishes at Citizens Circle, on SE Osceola Ave in Ocala, FL. Packet pick-up is available the day before the race at Citizens Circle from 3-6 PM. On race day, packet pick-up begins at 7 AM. The awards ceremony is preceded by a "Krazy Kilt Kontest" where participants are encouraged to wear Irish-themed socks, kilts, hats, or shamrocks.
Registration and Fees
Registration fees increase over time. The early fee is $30 until January 31, 2026. From February 1 to February 28, 2026, the fee is $35; this is also the cut-off date for shirt orders. From March 1 until online registration closes at 6 PM on March 13, 2026, the fee is $40. Race day registration is available for $40, payable by cash or check only, and may not include a race shirt.
Awards and Amenities
The first 175 finishers will receive a commemorative medal. Awards are presented to the overall male and female winners, as well as the male and female masters winners. Age group awards are two deep in five-year increments, from 9 and under up to 75 and over. Participants who register by February 28, 2026, will receive a 100% cotton shirt.
