Irish Eyes are Mile'ing 5K
The Irish Eyes are Mile'ing 5K is scheduled for March 14, 2026 in Ocala, FL, with the start and finish at Citizens Circle on SE Osceola Avenue. The event benefits Transitions Life Center of Ocala, a non-profit that provides community services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A virtual race option is available, with an optional shipping fee.

Medals will be presented to the first 175 finishers. Awards will be given to Overall Male and Female and to Masters Male and Female. Age-group awards are five-year groups, two deep, with categories from 9 and Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 and 75 and Over.
Entry fees vary by registration period: early entry ($30) through January 31, 2026; late entry ($35) February 1-28, 2026 (this is the shirt cutoff date); extra late entry ($40) March 1 through March 13, 2026 when online registration closes; and race-day entry ($40 cash or check only), which may not include a shirt. Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, March 13, 2026 at Running Elements, 29 NE 1st Ave, unit E, Ocala. A Krazy Kilt Contest and post-race awards presentation are part of the event.
