Irish American 5 & 10k Road Race
The event takes place on September 7, 2026 in Malden, Massachusetts, with the listed venue address at 177 West Street. It is organized by the Malden Irish American Club in partnership with the Malden Warming Center; a portion of proceeds will be donated to the Malden Warming Center.

Entry fees are tiered by registration period. Early bird, regular, and race day prices differ by distance; published prices include Early Bird, Regular, and Race Day rates for each distance. A team discount applies: each team member receives a $5 refund once a team reaches 15 registered runners by August 31.
Race entry includes race distance entry, water on course and at the finish, a race T-shirt (sizes not guaranteed), admission to an after-party, and two drink tickets. Teams with 15 or more registered runners by August 31 receive a tent, snacks, and water and beer at the tent; beer is not provided for high school or college teams.
Medallions are awarded to 1st and 2nd place finishers, male and female, in the age groups 17 and under, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
The course is described as mostly flat, running through Malden’s Edgeworth neighborhood and skirting the Malden-Medford border; the route is well marked and supported by volunteers and police escorts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
