Jameson Irish 5K - Pawtucket, RI (March 6, 2027)
The Jameson Irish 5K is a community 5K run and walk held in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on March 6, 2027. The event includes a family-friendly kids race and supports the Pawtucket Soup Kitchen. A post-race gathering will be held at Azul Tequila Bar in Pawtucket with live music and a cash bar; attendees are asked to bring ID.
Race offerings include:
- 5K run/walk, 3.1 miles
- Kids Leprechaun Run, about 1/4 mile, ages 12 and under
Parents may run with children in the kids race. Walkers are welcome in the 5K. Pets are not allowed and strollers must start at the back of the field for safety.
This event is the first leg of the Tour de Patrick, a three-race series held in Rhode Island during March. Participants who complete all three races receive a finisher medal and those who register for the full series pick up all race numbers and shirts at the Irish 5K packet pickup. Virtual participation counts toward the series; shirts for virtual participants can be picked up at packet pickup or mailed after race day if needed.
Pre-race and race day packet pickup happen at designated locations in Providence and Pawtucket. Race t-shirts are provided to preregistered participants and are not guaranteed for walk-up registrations. Awards include top overall, age-group winners, and team awards.
